The course Bibliometric Data Sources and Indicators is offered twice per year: in-person in spring and online in fall. The 2024 online version of the course is co-organised by CWTS and the Galter Health Sciences Library Northwestern University and will be held during office hours in the Americas from 18 Nov until 21 Nov 2024. The course programme provides an introduction into bibliometric data sources and indicators. You will learn about various bibliometric databases and their strengths and weaknesses and gain a solid understanding of the definition, calculation and interpretation of a wide range of bibliometric indicators.
