Are you attending CALNENA between March 2 - 5, 2025? If so, plan to attend our ASAP session on March 4th at 4:00pm PT in California 2 Room, Breakout Session 4. Topic: Reducing Telecommunicator Overload with ASAP Public safety telecommunicators face increasing workloads with alarm calls, resource dispatching, and situational awareness. This session explores how the Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP) streamlines alarm call management, automating data from monitoring centers to PSAPs. By reducing manual entry, minimizing errors, and speeding response times, ASAP lightens telecommunicators' workloads, enabling them to focus on higher-value tasks and improve response outcomes. The industry-leading, standards-based service for the digital dispatch of alarm events to 911 centers
关于我们
The Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP), launched in 2011 as a public-private partnership, is designed to increase the efficiency and reliability of emergency electronic signals from monitoring companies to PSAPs (now referred to as ECCs). ASAP utilizes ANSI standard protocols developed cooperatively by the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials (APCO) and The Monitoring Association. With ASAP, critical life safety signals and accurate information are processed in seconds, not minutes, ensuring that complete and accurate information is transmitted to the ECC every time.

Date: January 29th at 1 p.m. ET ASAP is hosting a webinar on our Automated Secure Alarm Platform (ASAP), which enables faster and more informed response. On January 29th, we’ll discuss how emergency response is slowed and tremendous stress is placed on telecommunicators by the 50 million calls generated by commercial and residential alarm systems. Fortunately, a highly effective solution already exists to support emergency communications centers (ECCs) – the ASAP Service, which is based on the Automated Secure Alarm Protocol jointly developed by APCO and The Monitoring Association (TMA). Speakers: Karen Carlson, Vice President & General Manager – Automated Secure Alarm Protocol Program Kari Morrissey, Director – Emergency Communications 9-1-1 of Anoka County, Minnesota Register at: https://hubs.ly/Q033LC3Q0
