Excited to share a great achievement in my academic journey!!?? My research paper titled, "A CFD Analysis of the Geometrical Optimization of Slotted Airfoils by Using the RANS K-ω SST Turbulence Model," has been officially published in the ASCE Publishing Journal of Aerospace Engineering. In this study, the geometrical optimization of slotted airfoils was studied, evaluating their improved performance through computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The research analyzed the airfoil's performance at a Reynolds number of 2.2 × 10? across various angles of attack, using the robust RANS K-ω SST turbulence model. This work underlines the potential of slotted airfoils in achieving better aerodynamic performance, opening up exciting possibilities for applications in aerospace design. I am deeply grateful to my supervisor Rohit K Prasad for their invaluable guidance and support, and to my amazing teammates, Ritesh Mane and Keshav Bhatia for their collaborative spirit and dedication throughout this project.
