In October, Alliant’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion department had the privilege of hosting Michelle Silverthorn, Founder & CEO of Inclusion Nation, for a virtual Culture Catalyst event “From Intention to Action: Ten Rules for Allyship in the Workplace.” Through real-world examples and thought-provoking discussion, this workshop delved into the complexities of allyship, its critical role in fostering belonging, and actionable ways we can all engage in intersectional advocacy. Alliant joins our Sikh colleagues and community in celebrating the birth of the Guru Granth Sahib, one of the most sacred observances in Sikhism. On this day in 1708, Guru Gobind Singh declared the holy scripture as the eternal, living Guru, guiding Sikhs with its teachings of truth, equality, and devotion.
