Another first at the AllianceTexas Mobility Innovation Zone! Public safety and commercial drone operators share airspace powered by multiple UAS Traffic Management (UTM) systems - a key step toward scaled Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (BVLOS) flights in drone operations. Manna Drone Delivery, Wing, ANRA Technologies, and the City of Arlington Police Department operated side-by-side in the same airspace last week, performing drone deliveries and drone-as-first-responder operations at Pecan Square, a Hillwood residential community. The showcase was part of the?Global UTM Association (GUTMA)?Harmonized Skies 2024 conference, a global group representing over 30 regulators. The next era of supply chain management has arrived! AllianceTexas just secured an $80M federal INFRA grant to support the construction of an east-west highway flyover connecting SH-170 and Intermodal Parkway, creating a key gateway to the core of AllianceTexas' inland port. This groundbreaking infrastructure investment is part of an additional $96M in private funding that will solidify AllianceTexas as the national leader in technology integration for industrial development and mobility innovation.
