Today our Outpatient Physical Therapy & Wellness Center at Marina Bay in Quincy had the chance to help Quincy Seniors get a step up on falls, at the Kennedy Center, with an engaging presentation on Balance & Fall Prevention! Sara Rawan, our talented Physical Therapist and Outpatient Clinic Manager for our Quincy location, teamed up with Jamie Dane, Inpatient Director of Rehab at Alliance Health at Marina Bay, to deliver a fantastic discussion packed with tips, personal stories, and plenty of laughs. The seniors we spoke with were captivated, sharing their own experiences and asking thoughtful questions. ?? Our spirited staff and residents alike from Alliance Health at Marie Esther were ready to go for the gold, at our recent Rest Home Olympics! This fantastic event was planned and co-hosted by our amazing Inpatient Rehab, Activities, Human Resources, and Alliance Physical Therapy & Wellness Teams- amongst many others! It was a true group effort with a ton of creativity, preparation, and celebrating, and our residents couldn't get enough. Our competition featured Shot Putt, Golf, Balloon Darts and even Trivia, allowing something for everybody to take part in! Yesterday was more than just a regular Monday at Alliance Health at Marina Bay and Alliance Health at Maples — it was a day where history came alive for our Veteran residents! Thanks to the incredible team at Dream Flights, these heroes took to the skies once again, soaring in a World War II plane that reminded them of their own bravery and sacrifice. ??♀???From cramps to sore muscles, our Team was at Mile 26 and ready to help the dedicated athletes of the 2024 Boston Marathon bounce back and keep on running! Sara Rawan had the opportunity to volunteer in the Medic tent again this year, as a Physical Therapist, supporting all the amazing runners who conquered this historic race.
