Our team at Alliance Health at Marina Bay had a fantastic time spreading love and joy this Valentine’s Week with our residents, staff, and family members! How did we make it extra sweet? Our incredible Staff and Activities Team made sure every moment was filled with fun and heartfelt celebrations like: ???Bake Sale Delight:?Staff members whipped up some delicious treats that were a hit with everyone! All proceeds went towards supporting future activities and our Staff Holiday Party, making it even sweeter. ???Romantic Trivia Fun:?We had a blast testing everyone’s knowledge on all things love! From famous couples to romantic movies, it was a great way to bring out smiles and spark some friendly competition. ???Carnations for All:?Thanks to the generous donation of beautiful carnations from?Colleen's Flower Shop in Dorchester,?we were able to share a little extra love, with flowers going to residents, family members, and staff alike. It was a wonderful reminder of how much love and community mean to us here. Since 2013, this super sweet initiative has delivered over 25,000 Valentines to seniors across MA, and this year we’re thrilled to be part of it. Our amazing Activities Team worked alongside our residents to create heartfelt cards, spreading love and kindness to others. Today Alliance Health at Marina Bay had the chance to help Quincy Seniors get a step up on falls, at The Kennedy Center, with an engaging presentation on Balance & Fall Prevention! Sara Rawan, our talented Physical Therapist and Outpatient Clinic Manager, teamed up with Jamie Dane, Inpatient Director of Rehab for our Skilled Nursing Facility, to deliver a fantastic discussion packed with tips, personal stories, and plenty of laughs. The seniors we spoke with were captivated, sharing their own experiences and asking thoughtful questions.
