Happy 135th Birthday to Marlborough Hospital. In 1890, within the home of a well-known Marlborough family, the vision for Marlborough Hospital was born. “There is a need in Marlborough for a hospital. I believe this community would financially support it.” And so, history began. For 135 years, our caregivers have remained dedicated and committed to our hospital and patients, delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Our Rest Home residents were udderly delighted by a mobile farm animal visit, featuring little pigs ??, ducks ??, chickens ??, a baby goat ??, and more! Some residents were brave enough to wing it and hold the animals, while others enjoyed snuggling with these cute guests. Sister Lucille stole the show, pictured here with an awesome chicken companion! This farm-fresh fun has become a cherished yearly tradition at Marie Esther, and our residents agree—spending time with these furry and feathered friends is paws-itively amazing!
