?? CO2 isn’t the only thing emitted during flight. Non-CO2 emissions like NOx and soot also come out of aircraft engines, and can contribute to the formation of #contrails, which can have a warming effect on the atmosphere. To limit the formation of contrails, Airbus is researching flight trajectory optimisation and alternative fuels. Big news! STARLUX Airlines has confirmed an order for 5 more #A350F making a total of 10! ?? Expected to operate on some of the world's busiest freight routes, the all-new aircraft, featuring the industry's largest main deck cargo door, will bring even more operational efficiency including significant reductions in fuel and carbon emissions.
