Check out how funders are adapting (and assessing!) their practices and processes to help close the gap between research and real-world solutions. This piece is an early look at an initiative I'm leading with colleagues in the Transforming Evidence Funders Network. I'm really excited that the participating funders have committed to not only changing a practice but also assessing the impacts/outcomes associated with those changes! Be on the lookout for more on this soon. A big thanks to these terrific organizations for joining the effort: AIR Equity Initiative; Canadian Cancer Society; The Patrick and Catherine Donaghue Medical Research Foundation; Education Endowment Foundation (EEF); Canada's International Development Research Centre (IDRC); Lumina Foundation; NERRS Science Collaborative; The Pew Charitable Trusts' Lenfest Ocean Program and Programs in the Biomedical Sciences; Wellcome Trust; William and Flora Hewlett Foundation; William T. Grant Foundation; and others!
