Turning Desert Challenges into Sustainable Solutions Water scarcity is a pressing global issue,?and we're excited to highlight our recent project focused on tackling this challenge head-on. The University of Arizona, a RAPID member, developed an innovative system that harnesses the power of the sun to transform salty,?unusable water into clean,?fresh drinking water.?By combining membrane distillation with solar energy,?they made major progress toward creating a self-sustaining solution for water-stressed regions. This project represents a significant step forward in water management and can help revolutionize how we approach desalination.
