Organized by the American Nuclear Society Thermal Hydraulics Division, Advances in Thermal Hydraulics is an embedded topical meeting series featuring peer-reviewed, full-length technical papers, summaries, and abstracts covering recent advances in thermal hydraulics. Nuclear thermal hydraulics addresses the performance of water-cooled and water-moderated nuclear power plants. At ATH topical meetings, authors and presenters are cordially invited to participate in this event to exchange ideas and knowledge, develop strong relationships across organizations, and establish collaborations to solve challenging problems.

I have had an inspiring week at the 2024 ANS Winter Meeting and our embedded topical meeting on Advances in Thermal Hydraulics. I would like to thank the Advances in Thermal Hydraulics team for all of the hard work that went into making our vision a reality — our organizing committee Dillon Shaver, Ferry Roelofs, Victor Petrov, Izabela Gutowska, Lander Ibarra Valle, Ph.D., Jun Liao, and Subash Sharma. I would especially like to think my esteemed colleague and friend, BAO-WEN YANG, for joining me in chairing the conference and for his tireless advocacy for the nuclear thermal hydraulics community.
Deadline: May 31 Don't forget to submit your full paper (10 pages) or extended summary (4 pages) to the 2024 Advances in Thermal Hydraulics Topical Meeting! Participants will have access to both ATH2024 and the Winter Meeting of the American Nuclear Society. We look forward to seeing you in Orlando in November!
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT FULL PAPERS and SUMMARIES: MAY 31 Greetings to all of you out there in the nuclear thermal hydraulics community!
