What an phenomenal time of connecting, relationship building, and fun at the 2024 ACC Foundation Corporate Counsel Classic in Nashville, TN! This weekend we were pleased to host a gathering of in-house and outside counsel for their choice of a day of golf or a relaxing spa day. Our golfers enjoyed a full 18-hole tournament at the Towhee Club while our spa-goers enjoyed their treatment of choice at the R+R Wellness Spa at the Grand Hyatt Nashville and a host of wellness activities including relax and restore yoga, sound baths, and and a state-of-the-art wave bed. Our golf and spa event culminated with our golf awards and networking reception at Acme Feed & Seed along the renowned Nashville Broadway St. We honored the day’s outstanding golfers, raffled some awesome prizes, and continued the connecting and strategic relationship building over delicious food and refreshing drinks. This is fun with a purpose! Proceeds from the Classic go to fund our diversity and pro bono initiatives that engage in-house counsel. The ACC Foundation has been busy doing what we always do -- bringing legal leaders together to make strategic relationships, level up, and advance DEI across the legal profession. Last month we were privileged to be hosted by both Ivan F. at the headquarters of Medtronic in Minneapolis, MN and Stephani Lewis (Stevie L.) at the Philadelphia, PA IKEA location for two unforgettable Care and Feeding of In-house Counsel Dinners. At each event we gathered general counsel and law firm leaders for a lively and impactful discussion on the state of DEI in the legal profession and how they can strategically honor their commitments to diversity in a social, political, and legal climate that’s becoming more challenging by the day. Last night we continued the connecting and conversing in Las Vegas, NV.
