Good afternoon, I have to say this; I’ve always believed in the goodness of America, in the strength of its values and the ideals that bind us together as a nation. But today, that belief feels shaken. This isn’t about political party lines; it’s about the individual who now holds our country’s highest office. If it were another Republican, this post wouldn’t exist. But I can’t stay silent when the person representing America is, in my view, is far from the best we can offer. It’s clear this decision was largely about economics, as we’ve seen before in elections. Yet, there are things in this life that should stand above money. In electing Donald Trump, I fear America has compromised its very soul, sold off the honor of its name, and jeopardized the dreams of our future generations—all for the promise of short-term gain. I had hoped the moral foundation of our country, our shared humanity, would outweigh economic anxieties this time. But now, we have a leader who embodies division, who has shown patterns of lying, even to his own supporters, and who openly fans the flames of xenophobia, racism, and sexism. His record reflects self-interest above all else, and it’s devastating to see this character now at the helm of our country. Sadly, I believe the majority of those who supported him may not truly benefit from his leadership. And this election, more than anything, is a reflection of us as a nation, revealing how deeply we’ve lost our way. History teaches us that great civilizations are seldom destroyed from the outside; their decline begins within. We are witnessing the first steps down that path, and it’s a sobering sight. Moving forward if you would like to come on our platform to discuss these issues, share your stories, thoughts and provide actions to roll back this decay. Please DM me and let me know.
