This new software won’t accept a boarding pass before the group it’s assigned to is called, so customers who get to the gate prematurely will be asked to go back and wait their turn. This comes after a judge ruled that Google had illegally monopolized the search market. Nvidia’s third quarter results came in better than expected as the company beat the already soaring expectations placed at its feet. https://lnkd.in/gdfC3BQk Revenues for the quarter were $35.1 billion, up 94% from a year ago and a 17% increase from the previous quarter. Profits were $19.3 billion, an increase of 109% from the same time last year. Nvidia beat expectations on all fronts outperforming analyst forecasts on growth. Nestlé is overhauling its business to drill down on its top-growing brands, spin off its underperforming water unit, and cut $2.8 billion in costs by 2027. https://lnkd.in/g6tCjQvu The measures were announced by Nestlé CEO Laurent Freixe who said his goal is to “accelerate Nestlé” and make growth the center of its investments in the upcoming years. Freixe, who has been with the consumer giant for nearly 40 years, emphasized a “less is more” approach for the Swiss company—from its innovation focus to where it invests. Top Justice Department antitrust officials have decided to ask a judge to force Google to sell off its Chrome browser in what would be a historic crackdown. https://lnkd.in/geW-TRr3 The department will ask the judge, who ruled in August that Google illegally monopolized the search market, to require measures related to artificial intelligence and its Android smartphone operating system.Click the link in the bio to read more. Super Micro Computer hired a new auditor after its previous one, Ernst & Young, quit in the middle of an engagement. https://lnkd.in/gSXNGE3c The Silicon Valley-based company, which touts a close relationship with AI stock-rocket Nvidia, had risked being delisted from the Nasdaq after failing to file both an annual and quarterly report on time.
