Excellent progress reported by our France Investor Group chapter in their latest annual report!

Happy International Women’s Day ?? At the 30% Club UK, we’re proud of the progress we’ve made to increase the gender balance on boards and in executive committees in FTSE-listed companies. However, equity is still a long way off... We want to see more female CEOs (there are only 9 in the FTSE 100). To achieve that, we need to encourage and support more women into the key roles in the C-Suite and Ex-Co-1, that feed into CEO positions. We’ve rounded up some killer advice from key members of our campaign, for how leaders and aspiring leaders can help make this happen. What resonates most with you? What advice would you add? What a fantastic event today at our annual Chair & CEO Conference in @Dublin Castle! preceded by a quick visit to Morning Ireland RTE It was an incredible opportunity to come together with Taoiseach Micheál Martin, fantastic CEO speakers, our patron Mary McAleese and our 30% Club Ireland members, partners, and colleagues from across industries, to launch our latest flagship research report—Breaking Glass Walls: A New Shape on Modern Organisations. This research amplifies the voices of both employers and employees across generations and business sizes to explore one of the most overlooked barriers to gender-balanced progression: care. ***New research*** The latest report from 30% Club Ireland, supported by Accenture, reveals the business case for Care Economics - and why integrating childcare, eldercare, and self-care into corporate policies isn’t just good for employees, but for business too. Key findings show that care-supportive policies lead to: ? 57% of employers seeing higher productivity after introducing hybrid work & flexible care policies ? 35% of companies reporting direct commercial benefits from supporting caregiving responsibilities ? 31% increase in employee retention in organisations providing eldercare & childcare support ? 68% reduction in absenteeism in workplaces with structured care policies ? 75% of employers stating that technology has helped employees balance work & care ? 71% of employees reporting better well-being, with 35% lower burnout rates in organisations with The challenge? Many companies still lag behind: ?? 40% of employees say their organisation doesn’t support working parents. ?? 52% believe eldercare isn’t given the same priority as childcare. ?? 30% of employees aged 50+ feel excluded from flexible work policies due to outdated assumptions.
