Here's one of our favorite elements of the new Pittsburgh International Airport: an iconic ceiling featuring lighting fixtures arranged in the shape of constellations. This design, inspired by the Pennsylvania night sky, seamlessly integrates architecture, engineering, and lighting technology. Passengers are greeted by a stunning canopy of stars, which guides them through the airport and represents a tribute to the industrial and scientific heritage of Pittsburgh, a city of innovators such as George Westinghouse and many NASA astronauts.
