I graduated as the top student in the School of Economics & Business Administration from Saint Mary's College in 2002, with a dual major in Accounting and Economics and a minor in Mathematics, and became licensed as a Certified Public Accounting (CPA) in 2003. Immediately after college, I worked as a financial statement auditor in a national public accounting firm. I then left to join a small accounting firm focusing on bookkeeping, payroll, and tax preparation for small businesses. The opportunity eventually came for me to purchase the payroll processing portion of the business, which I did and incorporated it under the new name of PBSG, Inc. I ran PBSG for 3 years, focusing on providing payroll processing services for small businesses. In 2007, I positioned and successfully sold the company to my competitor ADP, a Fortune 500 payroll company. After taking a year off, I went back to work as the accounting manager for the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, and soon thereafter was offered the position of Chief Financial Officer for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, located in Washington DC. After serving as CFO for this national organization for three years, I left in 2012 to create CFO Services Group. I currently serve as the President & CEO of the company.
