My daily meditation moment in the last weeks is looking at my friend’s Marta Valls Facebook feed . Marta invests her breakdown energy in a daily water color drawing. It is always a surprise to see her creativity. in front of their beloved artworks. You can hear the special silence and joy of the figure when you watch her drawings.
Nowadays, museums encourage us to enter their sites and pick up our favorite painting or artifact and interpret it. Museums professionals noticed that the public is not interested anymore in their virtual tours.
The big question is:How can museums attract future visitors?
How can museum professionals bring some joy and activate the people during the breakdown?
My personal suggestion is :Create your thematic stories on a digital platform that will enable your visitors to engage with the professional characters and the objects from home.
Imagine that the curator will present the tour: Toys in the Ancient Roman Empire or the tour about Food in the 17th century . Visitors from far away will be able to answer quizzes, they will be able to upload their creation . In that manner you , museum professionals, will be able to challenge your visitors and prepare them for the visit in the museum from far away.
I am the lady with the red hat who is zooming in Henry Moore sculpture will be happy to give you a hand to create your story for your visitors on the beta.experien.city platform.
