There's a push for Zoom to become the new Teams
Video calls come to mind when you think of Zoom. Thousands of people rely on it every day at work around the world.
But Microsoft Teams is leading the way when it comes to productivity, collaboration, and workplace integration (as well as video calls). Microsoft 365 is tightly integrated with it, making it so easy to use.
With the launch of a suite of features and services, Zoom is aiming to grab a piece of the action. The tools are clearly designed to battle Teams and Slack.
Email, a calendar app, and Zoom Spots, a virtual co-working space, will be included. In the meantime, Zoom One has been upgraded with a number of upgrades to improve collaboration, keep chats running, and keep projects on track.
In spite of the fact that it seems like a logical step for the video conferencing giant, it remains to be seen if the new services will be widely adopted.
Stop! we are not recommending the solution yet, we need to test it and look at it, see what the security is like, if the support is available, so you can be sure it is going to be right for you.
A lot of businesses are already committed to Teams, as there are almost weekly improvements made. These developments are intriguing as they can often drive more improvements on other software.
