#ZETA organized and conducted seminar in Kazakhstan focused on GMP aspects of drugs manufacturing

We are proud to share our knowledge and experience with our partners in the pharmaceutical industry in Kazakhstan. ZETA CIS team organized the first seminar covering actual industry specific topics:

·???????? GMP compliance while the development of design assignment and pre-design stage of a pharmaceutical facility.

·???????? Influence of GMP requirements upon transfer of technology and acquisition of rights to drugs;

·???????? Global GMP and Pharmacopoeia requirements to the water for pharmaceutical use. Practical aspects of clean utilities generation and distribution.

Our hybrid event allowed many companies from all over Kazakhstan to participate and ask proactive questions to the experts.

#Igor Falkovskiy - Advisor to GM on pharmaceutical projects, ZETA CIS, ISPE EAEU Affiliate BoD member. Igor emphasized the importance of sustainable and mature technical design decisions on early stages of a project i.e. Design Assignment (DA) and Conceptual Design (CD), because the Changing possibilities are maximum in the beginning of a project and fixing a problem is approximately 10 times faster and cheaper than doing so in the next phase. CD scope and DA details were also discussed.

#Sergey Klimenko - partner and head of practice at the Moscow office of #Nextons (formerly the Moscow offices of Dentons) focusing on Life Sciences, Corporate and M&As.

Sergey explained what GMP items related to transfer of technology have to be thoroughly investigated from a legal perspective. He also made a deep insight of Pros & Contras of Share deal and Asset Deal while drugs rights acquisition.

#Sergey Movsesov, Head of Pharmaceutical department of #BWT CIS, spoke about the regulatory requirements for water for pharmaceutical use, about the equipment for the generation, storage and distribution of pharmaceutical water, about the basics of designing such systems and about the best practices BWT implements all over the world.
