Zero party data is so last year

Hey there,
Zero-party data, as a concept, has been picking up steam lately. It kind of makes sense. Zero-party data is data that users have consented to share with an organization. If you’re collecting email addresses from website visitors through a form submission, congrats, you’re collecting zero-party data. It’s that easy.?
You know what that sounds a lot like? First-party data. Because it essentially is. Yes, there is a minor nuanced difference, but for the most part, the two concepts are the same. Marketers just love to one-up each other. Like, “Oh, you’re still using first-party data? Loser! I’m on to zero-party data.”?
We can’t go any lower than zero, but I’m sure marketers will still try to figure out a way to one-up each other from zero-party. So what’s next? Negative-one-party data? Doesn’t quite roll off the tongue.
Here’s my proposal: Quantum party data. What is it? I don’t know. But the next time someone brings up zero-party data to you, I want you to say, “Lol, zero-party data is so 2023.?We’re leveraging quantum party data now.”

Product Update
We just released another(!) new update for Web Tracker Manager: Action items. Now, when users select a specific resolution type, Web Tracker Manager makes the next steps users need to take clear.
For example, if Web Tracker Manager flags the Meta Pixel on your website, and you choose to resolve that risky web tracker by replacing it with Freshpaint. Web Tracker Manager’s new action items will now prompt you with next steps to set up the destination in Freshpaint and configure the allowlist.
