Zero is greater than nothing

I don't know about you but I can talk about an idea.??
I can debate and give opinions about it but…
I can't see an idea. I can't measure it. And I can't feel it.
I also can't understand it.
Zero is not an idea.
Zero… Exists.??
The ancient Egyptians had no concept of zero but they had the concept of empty, where they would put a couple of little slash marks.
They didn't use zero because, for instance, the number two and the number 20 or the number 200 and the number 2000 would look the same in their hieroglyphics.
And the only way you could tell the difference is by reading the context of the rest of them.
“Well, that's actually 2000 because there's like four of those little Egyptian guys doing the walk, and then there's like a dead fish and an eagle so it means 2000.”
Oh, of course ??♂?
So the Egyptians, as smart as they were, didn't really have zero figured out.
But the pre-Columbian Americas were the leaders of understanding mathematics in early civilization…
The first representation of the number zero anybody can find that's actually a zero is from the Olmec civilization, which ended around 32 BCE in the Gulf of Mexico.
Ptolemy was a mathematician and astronomer in classic Greece. He was using zeros to describe the path of the moon and the sun in a way they could understand.
What’s interesting is he popularized the concept of the number zero and sparked some debates with all of the philosophers…
“What does this even mean?”
“How can not being… be?”
How can not being… be?
Because zero was used to represent SOMETHING that meant NOTHING.
I'm thousands of years late for the argument but still want to submit my evidence that zero and nothing are NOT the same thing.
Zero is greater than nothing.
Zero is better than nothing.
Zero is more valuable than nothing.

Zero is exponential, infinite, and a force of magnitude.
Zero represents a result.
If a game is canceled, the score is nothing because there was no game.
If one team thrashes the other, the score is something to zero.
Nothing is nothing.
Entrepreneurs read a bunch of books, listen to a bunch of podcasts, and get a bunch of good ideas.
“Man, I'm going to read some more about this and ask a bunch of questions.”
“I'm going to come up with some ideas, make some plans, and do all these things.”
But some never actually start the business.
What do they have?
Nothing.
Now, let's turn it around...
“I got a great idea. I'm going to read some books and listen to this podcast… Talk to some people, and then go ask somebody to buy my shit.”
“Somebody,” says no. ??
But what do you have now?
Zero.
You just got measured.
Got feedback and data you didn't have when you had nothing.
If you do nothing, you get nothing.
Don't be afraid of zero.
