Solar is now a zero down product.  Loans range from 5 years to 30 in some cases.  Our loan is typically a 20 year unsecured amortized loan with a great interest rate.  After the Federal tax credit is factored in it is always lower than your current electric bill.  Your loan on your panels is transferrable to the next owner when you sell... and the monthly payment doesn't ever go up.  Why stay with your utility company?    I am asking the same thing....
