Zedify's 2024 best bits: by month

It's the last of our newsletters before the Christmas break, so we're ending the year with a whistle-stop tour of what 2024 has had in store for Zedify ??

As ever, thank you for your continued support as we continue to make zero-emission delivery the norm across the UK.?We're really excited for 2025 - it's set to be a big one.

?? Our sustainability stats?

Just in case you missed our recent post...

From January to November:

?? Our bikes travelled 713,000km across the UK (that's the equivalent of cycling from our Hoxton depot to Lapland and back, 117 times over!)

?? We saved 270,000kg of CO2e by using electric cargo bikes (that's equivalent to 31,672 Christmas dinners - 51,942 if they're plant-based!)

? 8 of our hubs are now running on renewable energy!

January

We launched our first official brand video!

February

We moved to a bigger Manchester depot, expanded our teams across the board and announced our partnership with ZARA!

March

We welcomed our new Sustainability Manager, Ella Yarrow, celebrated International Womens Day with our Manchester Assistant Manager Brittany (check out our chat here), and announced our partnership with Megabus, WSP and WECA in Bristol. A big month!

April

We released our Impact Report and after months of work with our brilliant web agency, launched a brand new website look and feel! Check out the Impact Report here.

May

We welcomed our new Chief Operational Officer Marcus Hurd and attended The Cargo Bike Summit - we had a blast.

June

We partnered with Farr Out Logistics in Edinburgh and had our big company meet in Bristol... where we got into groups and competed in a gamified parcel delivery attempt. One of our teams went missing halfway through; they'd tripped and fell into a pub...?

July

We were successful with another £4m investment round, and worked an exciting contract with our client CLUBZER? at Wimbledon!

August

We were shortlisted for the Zeelo Sustainable Supply Chain Award '24. Woohoo! Huge thanks to all at Zeelo for sponsoring this award.

September

We hosted our first ever careers event, aiming to boost diversity amongst our rider teams. A massive thanks to our partners at LOUD Mobility and all our staff who came together to make this first micro-event (hopefully of many!) happen in Hoxton - we had a blast and encouraged women from a variety of backgrounds to consider cargo bike riding as a career.

October

We launched our brand new livery designs and officially opened a new city location - Birmingham!

We launched our first Midlands hub, right in the heart of Brum!

November

We became a B Corp!

It's official. After months of solid work on this, we came through the other side B Corp certified! We're thrilled to be part of this wonderful community, but we also acknowledge that this is, really, just the start for us.

December
