Lusaka, 14th May 2018 – An international body that governs the publication of research and scholarly work has announced that Zambians will have their work published in America’s renown international journals opening up a brilliant opportunity for the Southern African country and securing local students access to international seminars and conferences.
The International Association of Scientific Innovation and Research (IASIR)‘s Head of Editorial has made a surprise announcement in a signed statement sent to the association of junior researchers in Zambia.
This is the first time a special board meeting of an American research association has recommended sweeping privileges to an African research body including a discount of 40 percent in total publication processing fee as it continues to demonstrate great interest in the nourishment young scientists and their intellectual grooming in Africa.
‘’Our board members of the ISIR’s international journals have recommended a discount of 40 percent in total publication processing fee to the Zambian Association of Junior Researchers.
This is the first time such type of discount is recommended by the board members. You have a brilliant opportunity to publish your accepted paper which will be published in the most reputed international journals,’’ the association head of Editorial says.
He explains that the American association’s journals are fully refereed, indexed, peer reviewed, multidisciplinary and have worldwide coverage to assume the most desired internationally recognition and all of the journals are having global impact.
The Zambian Association of Junior Researchers (ZAJR) had early in March this year informed the American research giant of its proposal to collaborate for publication of research/scholarly work in various in thematic areas such as Engineering, Development Studies, Environmental Science, Management Science, Social Science and other related areas.
The Association of Scientific Innovation and Research (IASIR) is a non-profit international organization that promotes the development and enhancement of research in various disciplines of engineering, management as well as their interaction to applied sciences.
The mission of the IASIR is to encourage interdisciplinary research in the state-of-the-art methodologies and technologies within it areas of expertise. IASIR brings together scientists, researchers, students and academicians from all over the world who work professionally to upgrade status of human society by their ideas and research potential.
The partnership, the largest tie up so far in Zambia where we operate in five of the 10 provinces, comes as major boost to our association in a time of unprecedented sluggish research progress in the country.
We very excited to be partnering with the International Association of Scientific Innovation and Research as we dramatically scale up our influence to achieve one of our objectives of helping African countries to eradicate poverty through quality research over the next five years.
Zambia has arguably come under pressure from higher Education Minister Professor Nkandu Luo who has criticized universities, research consultants and private research centers for not living up to their expectation in term of research advancement as compared to other counties in Africa.
