2.Font size should be half the average age of the room

A great list. Two more items 11) Each pitch is custom & unique - tailored to the audience, 12) Don't just memorize it, know it, and speak to it. Never read the slides (many investors can read ;-)

I especially like the " font size should be half the average age in the room". It is also a great way to help keep a single message per slide.
