Yup, webinars are still alive and well

Yup, webinars are still alive and well

"Webinars don’t work anymore."

False. The last set of webinar emails I wrote for a client a couple weeks ago resulted in 2,550 registrations for the webinar, 780 live attendees and 77 live questions.

"Blogs are dead."

False. Another client recently landed a global finance brand as a customer from a blog I wrote for them … two years ago.

Sure, the effectiveness of marketing tactics ebbs and flows, but in so many cases, when things stop working, the tactic isn’t the problem.

The problem is you’ve lost your connection to your customers. You’ve lost the relationship.

It doesn’t matter where a customer encounters your brand — whether it’s in an email, on social media, or on your website. What matters is the connection you create with them in that moment.

If your customers change, how you connect should change.

If the market changes, how you connect should change.

If your brand, company, offers, or approach to product delivery has changed, how you connect should change.

What works today might not work tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean the tactic is "dead."

Maybe your copy needs to change. Maybe your customers have become "ad blind" to your standard brand imagery. Maybe you need a new approach to your marketing content.

What’s not working like it used to? How can you make your approach to that tactic fresh or more creative?—?and reconnect with your customers?
