Young Sikh Professionals Network (YSPN)
Helping young Sikhs succeed and amplify their influence
Hey,
Welcome to the June?Edition of YSPN Pulse!
It's been a while, but I finally got to sit back and be a participant in last month's Digital Networking event.?
I love connecting with people and hearing their stories. This is how we can broaden our perspectives to grow professionally and personally.? I remember chatting with a CFO running their virtual advisory business, an engineer working in some remote offsite area, a leader who shared some great personal career lessons, and other amazing people.?
I?left that session feeling excited at the breadth and amazing quality of members across our community. They shared such rich insights and vulnerability and demonstrated an eagerness to connect with each other without ego or judgment.?
Earlier this year, I mentioned that our aim at?YSPN is?to provide more professional development and networking opportunities to our global community. Therefore, I'm excited to announce that our newly formed Asia-Pacific Digital Events Team will be running a dedicated virtual networking event on June 26th, perfect for those in India, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia,?and Western Australia. There will be more events dedicated to those in this time zone going forward.
If you have any colleagues, friends, or family who want to meet other like-minded professionals that could become great professional connections who might be able to support you going forward and vice-versa in a safe, non-judgmental, fun and practical environment, then register here???
To your success,
Amardeep ?

YSPN's Farmers Protest Webinar
A Comprehensive Insight into the Farmer's Protests in India
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the four distinguished guest speakers who provided a comprehensive perspective on India's ongoing farmer's protests during YSPN's Farmers Protest Webinar on May 28th.
The session offered valuable insights into various facets of the issue. Our speakers shed light on the historical context of the Green Revolution, explored the evolution of farming practices post-colonialism, examined the protests through a journalistic lens, and discussed the economic implications of the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
