YOU'VE OUTGROWN YOUR AUDIENCE.

YOU'VE OUTGROWN YOUR AUDIENCE.

Have you ever downloaded Tinder and gone on a swipe fest at the people buffet?

All these people! At your fingertips! swipe swipe swipe!

But then you start talking… and you come to your senses and realise that Enrique, the 22-year-old DJ who wants to move to Ibiza, won’t fit into your 12-month plan of buying a block of land, becoming the next Ballerina Farm, and adopting rescue ducks from your favourite animal rescue page.

So you get clear on what you want. And all of a sudden, you’re looking at your stack of matches and realise there’s only three people in the stack of man meat that meet your new requirement.

?? If you’re in drama mode: you’ll wonder why you’re not meeting anyone and where all the good people are.

?? If you’re in smart mode: you’ll see you need to get in front of the right people, get back to swiping, and get out there dating!

(You’re a smart babe, so you get back out there and get back swiping)

The more personal growth you have, and the clearer you become, the more filtering and going back to the drawing board that you’ll need to do.

Business?

It’s the same.

For many of us, we’re trying to make it work with matches where a past version of us swiped on — the past version of us with low standards, low pricing, unclear messaging or whatever it may be.

Many of us are wading in the same pool expecting our (potential) clients have gone through the same metamorphosis we have and expecting our audience to be there whenever we go next level (and for those who love Human Design and are a Mani Gen, forgetting to inform our people altogether) and moving at the same speed as us.

It’s easy to play the blame game when we’re here or participate in drama storytelling… but you need to ask what's going to serve you more to get to you to your business goal.

And gosh, this is such an empowering shift — is it that business is crap??Or?is it that you’ve actually grown heaps and now it’s about getting in front of those people. I know what I’d prefer… the story I’m actually in control of.?

It’s something to remember if you’re out here commanding new levels each week and growing, because it also means you need to be continually meeting people because your audience may take a little time to catch up… or maybe they won't and that's okay.

So… Are you getting out and meeting them? (Traffic and lead gen)

And are you dating them and having defining the relationship chats? (Sales)

It’s one of the trickiest things when we have extreme growth that we will continually need to be on it when it comes to sales and lead gen — and it’s why it should be in your diary each week, or even better, every day.

Otherwise, we run the risk of being the person sitting in their home on the couch doing nothing different but expecting the love of their life to fall into their lap having a whinge on IG stories about how shit dating... I mean business is.
