Yay, you’ve given your first webinar!
Putting together a really fantastic webinar is no laughing matter. You have to do tons of research, write a script, create graphics, get together all of your slides, actually sign people up, advertise, and then finally present it. It can take a few months to get through all of that work and finally reach the big day. And once you do… then what? Hopefully, you got lots of people into your webinar and they opt into some of your services or buy your programs, but what about the webinar itself? You’ve done all of this work and what do you have to show for it? Well, you actually have a lot more than you might expect!
You have a ton of options after your webinar is presented to get the maximum value out of the money you put into it. If you want to supercharge your webinar ROI, here are some tips:

Follow-Up Via Email
Even if you’ve generated a ton of interest in your products or services through your webinar, there will still be obstacles in the way of your customers opting in and buying them. Effective email follow-up is one of the best ways that you can close the sale.
An email survey/campaign for your webinar will remind your customers of their experience, your products, and convince many of them to follow up. A survey also has the added benefit of providing you with valuable information about how successful your webinar was.
In your survey, ask them what they liked, if their questions were answered, if the content offered was valuable, and how their overall experience went. As an extra incentive, you could include a free download if they complete the survey. Make sure that the survey is designed to be anonymous if you want to get accurate information from them.
Audit Your Process
If this was your very first webinar, chances are that you made a ton of mistakes. And that’s a good thing! Mistakes are you how you improve and become better. By learning the lessons from your experience building this webinar, your next one will be even more successful!
First, lay out the big general questions, “What worked/what didn’t?” Is there something that you knew you could have gone better? Is there something that surprised you about how well it went? How could you have improved on it? Most importantly, did you close the sale with a great call-to-action at the end?
Next, make sure you carefully look at any technical difficulties you encountered. With dozens of people streaming your webinar, it’s not uncommon for something to go wrong. Maybe your audio was slightly out of sync? Maybe some people on the call couldn’t hear you? Maybe there were broken links? These are important things to know so you can fix them in your next webinar.

You’ve put so much effort and money into your webinar, it would be a shame to let it go to waste. So let’s repurpose it! That is why you want to be sure that you recorded both the audio and video of your webinar to repurpose it for other marketing channels.
As your webinar was live, you will now have the freedom to cut any awkward moments or technical difficulty out of the video.
