YouTube Fights Misinformation: Labels for AI-Generated Content

In a move to combat the spread of misleading information, YouTube is implementing new guidelines for content creators. The platform will now require disclosure of videos that use artificial intelligence (AI) to generate realistic content.

For videos related to sensitive topics like health, news, elections, or finance, a prominent label will be displayed directly on the video player. For other content, the disclosure will appear in the video description.
