Be YOUTHful || November 2023

?? November was full of colourful news for us, just like the crunchy autumn leaves! To give you a taste of it - we implemented a dream project, became a member of a large international network and held local meetings where all interested youngsters have the opportunity to take part!

?? Youth Photo Contest - "Capturing Civic Activism"

This is an exciting opportunity for YOU(th) to showcase your talent and perspective on the theme of "Capturing Civic Activism".

?? Open to all young people aged 18-25 who are residents of the 46 European countries (member countries of the Council of Europe). Overall, 12 winners will be selected. The Grand Prize winner will be invited to the event on 25-28 March 2024 in Poland, with travel and accommodation costs fully funded.

?? Meeting of ESC Coordinators in Armenia

The annual meeting for coordinators of the European Union's European Solidarity Corps program took place recently, bringing together 18 representatives from various organizations with European Solidarity Corps Quality Label, hailing from different communities across Armenia. ?? Empowering Rural Areas through Entrepreneurship: Insights from the Youth Exchange

?? Hooray!!! INEDNET is a member of the European Youth Press EYP

On November 4-5 in Lisbon, Portugal, the European Youth Press had the General Assembly. INEDNET submitted its candidacy to become an observer member of EYP and was elected as a member organisation, which gives the organisation an excellent chance to cooperate with other media-making organisations and voice out issues related to media-making and young journalists' education in Armenia.

The second good news is that Narek Aleksanyan, nominated and endorsed by INEDNET, applied to become an executive board member of EYP and was elected by the majority in general voting, saying yes to his candidacy.

?? Inclusion Is Being Asked To Dance: When A Dream Comes True

The “Inclusion is being asked to Dance!” youth exchange, organized by INEDNET and the European Youth Press in partnership with Infinity Greece, Bulgarian Youth Forum and Scambieuropei, marked a great success in the stage of its implementation. The output of this project is videos depicting how we can overcome exclusion and discrimination using dance as a tool.

?? Local follow-up meeting on Erasmus+ opportunities for youth in Ijevan, Armenia

On November 20, a local follow-up meeting was implemented in Ijevan, Armenia, after the project "Developing Rural Communities" (covered in our previous edition). On behalf of INEDNET, Zori Beknazaryan - a participant of the project, shared his experience and answered the questions of the youth present at the follow-up meeting on ways to find and meaningfully participate in Erasmus+ projects with INEDNET.

?? Local follow-up action of MORE Intercultural Competence project

Another local action took place in Yerevan on November 25 as a follow-up of the "MORE Intercultural Competence" project. More than 20 young people from Armenia and Artsakh participated in the event, playing together the "MORE" role-play game on the topic of migration, as well as being given the chance to ask questions about Erasmus+ and participation in youth projects.

?? Publication on Innovative Tools in Youth Work

In our previous edition we told you about the 5-day international training designed for Youth Workers to explore innovative digital and AI tools, where each partner, including INEDNET, presented the digital tools developed within their own organization.
