YOUTH MENTORING

We mentor children and adolescents to learn and master the 5 key skills of leadership. Leadership involves managing ourselves and how we respond to others’ leadership of us, as well as leading other people.??
In the home, at school or in the community; individually, in pairs, small groups or in larger groups like our leadership camps, we guide them to learn how best to navigate themselves through life.?
They may struggle with screen addiction, poor social skills, laziness or perfectionistic thinking. Or constantly compare themselves to others, leading to an inflated or deflated persona. No matter the challenges, our team of mentors will spend time ideally engaging in the activities and interests or they enjoy – their hobbies, favorite sports, fitness, recreation and any pursuits considered to be healthy.?
Together we analyze previous or current scenarios, patterns of behavior or relational dynamics to teach them how to better function as individuals and relationally with others.?
Ultimately, we aim to guide them to think more critically, to improve their problem-solving and decision-making skills. To learn how to widen and deepen their beliefs and perspectives, and to think more objectively and beneficially.?
“Their FIT program is one of the most responsive, creative and caring approaches to families that I have ever seen.”
