Yours Sincerely, I Graduated.

I graduated. Cue confetti and awkward applause. And, like the overachiever I am, it feels... underwhelming. I mean, I did it. I did something that I should have done three years ago. But now that it's over, there's this weird meh feeling.

I think my life is a never-ending to-do list. Wake up, conquer the world, repeat. Is there even any fun if it's anything else but that?

I think it is somewhat a product of the highest standards I put for myself: you can do better, be better, achieve more, use all the 24 hours and 7 days because who needs sleep? I absolutely despise being average! Because I cannot be afraid to go after what I want and if I am going to do something, I have to do it big or not at all. And, every time it's not 'BIG' in my standards, it sounds average, then I throw that away and look for the next 'BIG' thing, it feels that way until I complete it, then it's nothing again because I did it.

And, now I sit here trying to put myself back to reality and tell myself yes, maybe the journey was the 'BIG' part, but it doesn't mean that the effort throughout doesn't mean nothing, it meant I did not keep waiting for my life to begin. I didn't push my passions aside for a tomorrow that is never truly promised. Because I can't just keep simply adding things to my bucket list every single day instead of checking things off. I have to do them, and I have to do them now.

I'm starting to think my brain is wired like a hamster on a wheel. Always running, always chasing the next big thing. But what if the real adventure is in the unknown? What if instead of climbing the next mountain, I decide to build a sandcastle? Or, you know, maybe just take a nap.

Sounds ideal, no? Yep, that is definitely not happening because I am so ready for my next master's which, I hope, will be a less stressful Master's in Communications.

If you were wondering, this time I graduated in Global Studies & International Relations.

Anyway, wish me luck, and send coffee. Lots of coffee.
