Dear College Student,
If you're in your early 20s and a college student, this newsletter is for you! We understand that the college experience can be a mix of excitement and challenges. While some may revel in the freedom, others might feel trapped by the demands of early classes, subpar food options, and the fear of missing out (FOMO).
However, your 20s can also be the perfect time to skill stack and build your self-worth. Here are three tips to help you make the most of this phase:
Start Working Part-Time
Find online work opportunities that align with your interests and skills. It could be as simple as creating Canva posts for an NGO or as complex as building a website for a client. While we advocate for paid work, sometimes unpaid experiences can also help you gain confidence in your skills and eventually demand what your work is worth. However, never work for free for someone who can afford to pay you a basic stipend.
Find 2-3 Good Friends
Loneliness and a lack of emotional support can take a toll on your well-being. While the temptation to isolate yourself might be strong, especially if you find it difficult to connect with friends beyond partying or gossip, it's essential to have a small circle of genuine friends who can provide a supportive foundation. These true friends will be a hundred times more valuable than a "flock of gossiping sheep."

Explore Beyond College
Expand your horizons by connecting with people from diverse fields and walks of life. This will not only broaden your perspective on the world but also help you build a well-rounded network for professional and personal growth. Don't confine your interactions solely to your college peers.
We understand that feeling lonely or dreading college can be a common experience. If you've ever felt this way, know that you're not alone. Embrace this time as an opportunity to develop valuable skills, nurture meaningful relationships, and explore the world beyond your college campus.
I wish you all the best on your journey!
Sincerely,
Anand Singh
