"If You're Not Winning Souls For Christ...You Don't Work For GOD...You're SELF-EMPLOYED!! But Let's Talk About GOD's Divine Order In 2017"

Because of the punishment for disobedience in the garden, men must earn a living: Gen. 3:17; “And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.”

Although God promises us food and shelter, it comes as a result of us working: 2Th. 3:10; “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”

It is a man’s responsibility to provide for his family: Eph. 5:23; “For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of his body, the church; he gave his life to be her Savior. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives must submit to your husbands in everything.”

Women are the nourishers of the home so the presence of a woman is necessary to raise children and care for the needs of her husband: Gen. 2:18; “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.”

Women may decide to work outside of the home, but this should never overshadow or supersede the needs and well-being of her family: Prov. 31:27; “She carefully watches all that goes on in her household and does not have to bear the consequences of laziness.”

God blesses the home based on His order and not the world’s order. This is why we must not allow the world to influence the way we formulate our homes: Rom. 12:2; “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Although we work for money, God adds to our abilities and gives us more when we truly trust in Him: Matt. 6:33; “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”   

But we cannot trust in riches alone. We must trust God for our jobs and income so it never conflicts with His plan for our homes: Mark 10:24; “And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!”   

When our desires conflict with God’s order, then they should not be pursued because God is the one that can do exceedingly abundantly above what we can think of, so we must do it His way in order to have His blessings on it: Mark 10:27; “And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.”

All men must work! God ordained the man as the provider of the home and the woman as the nourisher of the home. In spite of the recent changes in our world and the fact that women now make up the majority of the workforce, God's desire has not changed. He still wants us to trust His order! The act of faith performed by a man taking the provider role in his home is crucial to how God responds to his prayers. Faith is what pleases God. We must walk by faith and trust the roles God has given us. When we line up with God’s plan, He continues to bless us. Even though it takes major faith in some cases to trust God on this level, it’s necessary for us to do if we desire to truly please Him. When we fall into place according to God’s Word and secure our homes according to His desired order, then He is pleased with our faith, and He blesses us tremendously: Heb. 11:6; “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
