"If You're Not Winning Souls For Christ...You Don't Work For God...You're SELF-EMPLOYED! But Do U Have The Mind of Christ?!"

The mind of a man is the soul of a man. This is the most important part of a man’s existence. This is what dictates the lifestyle, actions, and will of a man; but the mind is an important area to God also. This is where a man’s true nature is revealed. This is where God instills his word and receives his reverence. The mind is also the most important area to Satan as well. This is where he builds up strongholds, imaginations, and houses of thoughts that can influence man’s decision to serve his own flesh or will: Rom. 8:6; “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”

The mind controls the total man and can decide a man’s actions before they are committed: Prov. 23:7; “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

This is where Gods first judgment will be. To judge the true soul or mind. Even though actions speak louder than words, in our minds lies our true motive; but Christ came to earth to die for our sins. But He also came to show us how we must live: Heb. 4:15; “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”

We must have the same mind that Christ had; and having the mind of Christ is not easy because it requires a totally different mind-set than we are born with. The mind that we have at birth is a mind that is carnal and seeks to satisfy itself. It does not know God and does not reverence Him. It only seeks to please the flesh and seeks after the things of the world: Rom. 8:7; “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.”

This is why we must be born again; and we must be totally renewed and our minds must be changed. Even though we will always have carnal desires, we must replace our carnal thoughts with spiritual thoughts: Rom. 7:25; “I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.”

With some people that may require a whole new thought process because some people were born into curses or demonic generational heresies. Their minds are subject to their surroundings, environment, or wayward teachings and examples; but their carnal thoughts override their own conscience and alters their code of morality. The reason that Christ only served God and never sinned was because He never allowed His carnal thoughts to override His spiritual thoughts. Christ never gave His carnal needs authority over the will of His Father; and this is how we have the same mind that was in Christ dwelling within us. We must completely submit to God; and we must yield our minds to God and not our own flesh:

?Rom. 6:19; “I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.”

When we are born, we are all born into different circumstances, and our actions basically dictates the state of our children. For example, if a family of gay men or lesbian women conceive or adopt children, there is a great chance that those children will be influenced by demonic, homosexual spirits! And the same with drug addicts, people with diseases and also abortionists. In many of these cases, the children may not even have a chance to live; because the demonic influences that many people are born under can gravely effect their lives. These are merely imaginations and strongholds that people must remove in order to think according to the scriptures, and many people that are saved do not live according to the will of God because they have not changed their thought process; but because of free will, our thoughts and actions are ours to command. God doesn't change our minds, He just removes strongholds and imaginations that may hinder our thoughts and gives us a fair chance to choose Him: Rom. 8:13; “For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.”

Some Christians ask God to change their thoughts and minds for them but God will not do that; however, He gives us free will to choose His way or our own way; and we must suffer the consequences of choosing our own will. We must remember that we are in control of our minds and God only does what we allow Him; but He will not override our thoughts and decisions; but will remove those things that may have been placed in our minds to deceive and influence us. God is more than willing to help us develop the mind of Christ and He will reveal to us the hidden things that Satan may have control of. We cannot change the fact that we may have been born under curses or demonic influences but we can remove those things by the power of the Holy Spirit.
