Get your own magic beans—climb up and walk amongst the giants of industry.

If you’re self employed, are you really building a business—or are you simply building a job for yourself?

We are all taught that the only way to make money is to get a job. This job related thinking then drives every decision we make—even when we want to build a business. We say, “I’m good at my job, so why should I give the profits to my boss? So, i’ll start my own business—doing the job I currently do—and take all the profits for myself.” We then become self-employed—that is, we have just built a job, not a business.

Building a business requires a whole different set of thinking and beliefs, yet we are driven by the belief system that we have grown up with. These job related beliefs inform and drive every decision we make and no matter how hard we try, we still simply end up building a job. What is more, the business ends up running you instead of you running it—i.e. the customers tell you when you should work, eat, sleep and spend time with your family—and how much you can earn.

Further more, because you let your clients set the expectations around product and service delivery—i.e. you don't clearly set, communicate and manage expectations—then you have effectively given control of your company to the people with the least training, knowledge and experience of your industry. Ever heard the saying, 'The client is always right'? Steve Jobs who founded Apple never believed this and look what he achieved. It may be a great saying to give your employees—once expectations have been appropriately set and managed—but terrible for a business owner. Just another example of job vs business builder thinking.

A business is a set of systems that market and sell products and services and enable other people to do ‘the work’.

A business' systems run the business—including its employees. That is, people don’t run the system, the system runs the people. Since your new ‘business’ doesn’t have these systems—and they may be nothing like you think they are (BTW we have a blueprint to show you exactly what they are and how they all fit together)—then the business is not being run by anyone and therefore is 'out-of-control'. There is simply no predictability in the business’ income and operations—it’s up one month and down the next, driven by every change in the weather or economic climate.

Wouldn’t you rather have a stable business with a predictable income and growth path that allows you to work when you want to—not forces you to work because you can’t afford not to; one that enables you to go on holiday without worrying that everything will fall apart in your absence; a business that enables you to retire when you’ve had enough; one that is truly valuable and ready-to-sell?

You need a change of thinking. Remember, our beliefs inform and drive our decisions. Therefore, you need to change your belief system from job related beliefs to business building beliefs.?

A radical change of thinking can eliminate critical issues, lead to explosive growth and even set your business up for going global. We call it Magic Beans.

And no, this does not mean you have to work harder—that's job related thinking. In fact you get to increase your income while working less. This applies no matter how big, or small, you want your business to be.

The revolutionary Magic Beans success program turns your thinking around. Called ‘brain training’, it reorients your beliefs so that every decision you make will be informed and driven by business building beliefs—not the job building beliefs you grew up with. What is more, once your beliefs are turned around you will understand what a good investment looks like, which will impact every part of your financial future.

It works by giving you knowledge about how to build a successful business. For with knowledge comes understanding—and this is the wellspring from which come all of our beliefs.

Our beliefs are not linear, they are cyclical. That is, our Beliefs create our Emotions, which drive our Actions. Our Actions create our Outcomes, which produce our Experiences—and our Experiences reinforce our Beliefs (see below). Just one big cycle that feeds and builds up whatever beliefs we are indoctrinated with as a child. Thus, whatever beliefs that were put into us as a child are spinning wheels driving us towards a job—no matter how hard we try to get away from them. We all need outside help from someone with the right tools—and a lot of patience—to escape this pattern of beliefs.

How our beliefs are created—and reinforced.

Think of it like this: if you were trying to change the direction of a large truck tire barrelling down the road, would you simply stand in front of it? No! You need to get along side it, match pace with it and then give it a small nudge. The truck tire will then turn itself around and eventually head back the other way.

This is how we change your thinking around, we get along side you, match your current beliefs and then give you a small nudge. This leads to a radical change in your thinking and beliefs. It’s like the Matrix's red pill—once you take the red pill there is no going back. But unlike the Matrix, you will truly be set free to live in a more prosperous and fulfilling world than the one you currently live in—where you are fully in control of your financial future.

We see it as releasing you from slavery. Let me explain: Historically being employed was actually called slavery. While this is an over simplification, essentially everyone started with a plot of land—i.e. they owned their own business. If the crop failed, then they had to go and work for their neighbour—i.e. find employment. If they decided to stay ‘employed’, then, for example, in Israel they would get a stud put in their ear to indicate that they were a slave (NOTE: later on this term was softened to 'indentured servant'). Of course this practice differed from one culture to another, but the principle was the same.

Over the years, the language has changed to such a degree that, far from being a mark of slavery, we celebrate when our child gets their first job. Our parents, teachers and government indoctrinate us into believing that this is the only way to make a living. Our entire education system is designed to teach us how to do a job—not build a business. Even an MBA simply teaches you how to administer someone else's business. In fact, we are even taught that business owners are bad people who steal from their employees. What a turnaround! Employees have come from being a lowly slave to being 'the good people in our society'!

It may surprise you to know that people who understand how to build a real business work hard to build up and enrich their employees. They look to also ‘set them free’ to gain financial independence—owning the work they do and gaining the generational benefits that come with that.

Unfortunately, most people work for businesses whose owners are building a job, not a business. Thus the owners are also enslaved and have no way to free themselves—let alone their employees. They go by the mantra, ‘Work hard and save for a rainy day’—job related thinking. After all, why do you need to save if your income is stable’s and constantly growing—and doesn’t rely on things like your health to continue thriving?
