YOU’RE RIGHT… NOW DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT?
An awaking realisation.?
Suppressed emotions and actions pervade the ranks of business owners and managers.?
What to do??
Evident throughout society, the economy and marketplace people are unhappy and despairing. They are despondent, have a sense of hopelessness and feel betrayed. For many wokism is an insidious presence.?
The political arena is inhabited with lies and liars. Broken promises seem to be the norm and are widely anticipated. Lack of leadership and direction are symptomatic of an absence or scant presence of genuine leaders. The heavy hands of “the power elite” are omnipotent , but not conspicuous. Sectional and factional interests pervade the corridors of power.?
Vocal, active and agitating advocates of wokism are influencing, if not determining agendas and narratives with disproportionate effect.?
And all the while corporate Australia (and the world) yield, often raked with self-doubt.?
CHALLENGING TAKE-UP?
The challenge is to recognise, respect and articulate the reality that it (life, business, relationships and self) can be better. Indeed, it could and needs to be better. In reality, it is a non-threatening opportunity which comes with risk, doubtlessly opposition and the need for resolute belief and conviction that there is a better way. Focus on the causes, and don’t be distracted by symptoms.?
You’re right… now do something about it.?
Undertake your own personal two-stage process. Remember well…
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Business is simple, but never easy.
????????? Be prepared and be receptive.?

STAGE ONE:
·?????? Listen ????????? Different points of view provide differing insights,
overviews and opportunities.
·?????? Seek? ?????????? Needs, wants and collaborative prospects.
·?????? Explore???????? Be open, it identifies. Many mining companies sought
gold, iron ore and nickel in the Kimberley, a region of? Western Australia. Only Rio Tinto explored for diamonds – alas Argyle.
·?????? Find????????????? Mine what exists but is not utilised.?
STAGE TWO:?
·?????? STEP UP????? ????????? Be prepared to fill the leadership void.
·?????? STAND UP???????????? Respectfully speak to people. Provide another
point of view/perspective.?????????
·?????? SPEAK UP????????????? Detail hypotheses and propositions.
·?????? SHUT UP??????????????? Allow feedback, input, engagement and
refinement.?
Don’t be prescriptive. Think global (360degrees), act local.?
Within the context of taking a risk, offering another perspective and accepting that we should all know this, don’t expect total agreement, unanimity, uniformity and conformity. Settle for progress.?
Above all, don’t hold back. Be Brave.?
