You're Qualified, Trust Me

You're Qualified, Trust Me

Think you're not qualified? Think again.

This week I looked at the misconceptions and myths about qualifications, the second week's topic of #PILOTMinuteCoaching, our new series of free, on-demand career coaching sessions designed to help advance your career in just one minute every week.

This video, originally broadcasted live on PILOT's Facebook page, explains the truth about qualifications, both professionally and personally, and how they affect your chance of getting ahead. Most people don't think they are half as qualified as they really are; they often don't take into consideration aspects of themselves that are the real keys to success.

So don't hold yourself back. You're more qualified than you think, and it's high time you start believing it.

Start this week's free #PILOTMinuteCoaching session, You're More Qualified Than You Think, now with personalized advice and accountability follow-ups from yours truly.

Get to it!

Ben, this is an excellent video! If nothing else, a great morale booster. Could you make a pt. 2 to this? How do you communicate your talents, skills, interests, "the whole package" when you're only submitting resumes and cover letters? It's true that companies hire people, not just skill sets; how do you communicate your 'personality' on a resume of qualifications?
