You're a Product of Your Training

You're a Product of Your Training

You're a product of your training — that was the title of one of the chapters of the Daily Stoic. Ryan Holiday went on to explain the importance of practicing habits and exercises that train you to replace ignorance, lack of discipline, and poor self-regulation.

"A mind that isn't in control of itself, that doesn't understand its power to regulate itself, will be jerked around by external events and unquestioned impulses."

When you exercise, you are training your mind and your body to be strong.

When you meditate, you are training your mind and your body to focus and be still.

When you fast, you are training your mind and your body to be resilient and powerful.

Although you may not realize it, these practices are training you to have the strength to carry the weight of the world if it ever falls on your shoulders; the patience and grace to weather the noise and chaos that may disrupt your life; and the fortitude to handle temptation, or scarcity, if you are ever confronted with it.

We live in a society where we have access to whatever we want whenever we want. For the most part, we are not deprived of any of our needs or essentials.

These comforts make us weaker. They trick us into thinking we can't live any other way.

That's why it is our responsibility to challenge and train ourselves. It's our responsibility to train and prepare when things are easy, so we are ready when the storm comes.

Life will always come at you. And it will come at you fast.

Right now you may think you don't have the time or energy to fit a mimic fast into your busy week. You may think you have too much on your plate already to deal with one more thing.

But if you're feeling that way, that's precisely why this fast will help. You don't need to move to Tibet and sit on the top of a mountain to do this fast.

This fast is for real people living fast-paced lives.

It's not easy — but it's easier than you think it'll be.

It's a mini-challenge to help you practice and train for the big challenges.

I know you're going to be grateful for the accomplishment when you're on the other side of it, because you are a product of your training — and you are always in training for something bigger.

I do RejuvaFAST once a quarter because I believe wholeheartedly in the training. I believe I am stronger, happier, and healthier because of it.? I wish I could bottle up my bliss and give it to you as a pill. But since I can't do that, the next best thing is to invite you to train with me personally and experience these sparks of bliss for yourself.

Today, I invite you to train with me. Let's get stronger together.

Sign up now to make sure you're on the call with us on Saturday morning.

You'll thank me later.

Caroline De Posada-Rodriguez great reminder of how essential disciplined practice is to fostering not just immediate benefits but long-term success and stability.

Training through habits and exercises is crucial for resilience and strength. "comforts make us weaker" gives us something to think about!

I love the notion that we create managable micro-challenges to prepare us for the unforeseen challenges ahead. Truth may be that we create most of our challenges, intentionally or unintentionally! Have a great session Caroline!
