You're Probably Making Videos Wrong

So much video content on LinkedIn looks the same. Somebody talks to the camera, delivers their message, and the video ends.

What's wrong with that?

To be honest, I know it can be intimidating to create video content, so just talking to the camera is a great start. I still do it myself, depending on what I'm trying to accomplish with my content.

That said, simply talking to the camera leaves a huge opportunity untouched.

Yes, tell us a story, but where certain types of media like podcasts and radio limit us to simply telling a story, video allows us to also SHOW a story.

And when we use the right images that are relevant to our message, our viewer retention improves, and more people will look for our next video.
