If you're a Logger, you gotta be wearing "Clogger".
First day out wearing my new "Clogger" Chainsaw Pants. First impressions - I can't believe how comfortable these are. I've got a couple of pairs of older Chaps, and they just don't have anywhere near the level of comfort and flexibility as these pants. Nor are they anywhere near as safe. And when I'm out cutting up firewood I want to make sure I'm safe, because if I hurt myself our livelihood will be gone, faster than an SME under Lockdown Level 4.
With PPE it has to do the job the safest way possible, whether you are front-line in a hospital or out in the bush. It's also got to be comfortable to wear all day long , and ideally in our new Covid-19 environment you need it to be "Made in New Zealand". That's where my new Clogger Pants fit the bill. I'm stoked with them. They're state of the art safe and made right here in NZ.
Just because I'm an ordinary bloke cutting up firewood at home, it doesn't mean I shouldn't be as safe as a professional when it comes to using my chainsaw. Sure, they got the poet in me thinking up marketing ideas about them, including my little rhyme above, but I also know these give "Mother Bear" more peace of mind, and that is an an added bonus.
