You're not "just another" - so don't blend in!
Steve Woodruff
The elevator pitch is dead - let's get to the point with your Memory Dart!
Here in middle Tennessee, you run into a musician wherever you go.
Your server, your barista, your Uber driver - there's a good chance they came to the Nashville area to make it big, just like everyone else.
And, until they find a way to stand out with their talent and message, each one is "just another _____________." Blah, blah, blah.
Like every other professional, a musician needs to find a way to rise above the noise. To move from "ho-hum" to "hmmmmmm....tell me more."
How do you position yourself as uniquely valuable, instead of a blend-in-the-background commodity?
Here's what my friend David does. When he introduces himself, he says, "I sing Popera. My goal when I sing is to give your goosebumps goosebumps."
An intriguing Memory Dart. A twist. An angle. A colorful picture. An invitation to say, "tell me more!"
You need your own Memory Dart. Everyone does.
On Wednesday, November 20, at 12:30 pm EDT, I'll be leading a (free!) webinar called The Elevator Pitch is Dead (so prepare your memory darts!)
Here’s the link to register: https://bit.ly/MemoryDart.
I'll be including several guests who will tell you how they've developed their brief, clear, memorable messages.
You've worked too hard and accomplished too much to be "just another ________." Learn how to move people to say, "tell me more!" with just a few well-chosen words.
I hope to see you there!
