This stunning waterfront location offers unparalleled views of San Francisco Bay, Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz that will leave your event guests in awe. With a 2,200-person capacity, flexible meeting space, and award-winning green design, this 66,000-square-foot building is the perfect choice for any conference, trade show, or exhibition. With the addition of the Gateway Pavilion at Pier 2, Fort Mason Center can accommodate more than 10,000 event attendees across its 13-acre campus. One of three piers initially constructed in the early 1900s by the United States Army as San Francisco’s Port of Embarkation, Gateway Pavilion at Pier 2 first served as a warehouse and processing point for military personnel and supplies. After the Army’s departure in the 1960s, the piers, part of a 13-acre campus, were converted into a hub for arts and cultural organizations. With more than $40 million in renovations completed over the last decade, Gateway Pavilion at Pier 2 has received awards from the American Institute of Architects and the California Preservation Foundation for its innovative and sustainable design.
