?? ACCEPT YOUR INVITATION HERE ??

Last week I wrote about "A Better Way To Network: Deep Networking." I was surprised and humbled that 5k+ people found it worth reading & engaging with. Perhaps not that surprised...my network over the years is vastly comprised of the most thoughtful givers: kind, optimistic, growth-seeking humans from all over the world...present company included ??

In it, I talk about how I’ve spent most of my life either engaged in deep conversations or facilitating conversations that change the world. And how, along the way, I've learned there's a better, more human, more authentic way to network than what we typically think of as traditional professional networking: Deep Networking. Deep Networking is the POLAR OPPOSITE of traditional networking: it is anything but transactional. It is not about “what I can get from you.” It is all about, “what can I learn? How can I help?” The whole article takes 2 min to read: here ??

What the overwhelming response to that article made clear is that many of us are ready for a more human, less transactional version of networking, where we get to be our whole selves, unfiltered, authentic, and real AF. So I decided to design and host the 1st ever Deep Networking experience on MON DEC 21, where you & like-minded professionals from my network can get to know each other on a deeply human level: ?? Accept Your Invitation Here ??

What will the experience be like?

You'll enter a virtual room where Deep Networking happens via 5 minute video convos, (powered by twine). You'll get automatically matched with someone else in the room over one of the following Deep Questions:

  1. What’s a hard life lesson you’re grateful you had the opportunity to learn?
  2. If you could spend 30 days learning anything, what would you learn?
  3. What is one experience you'd gift everyone in the world?
  4. If money didn’t matter, what would you be doing with your life?
  5. + more...come and see ??

You can stay for 1 convo, or as many as you'd like 'til the event closes.

In Deep Networking, you have permission to:

  1. Skip The Small Talk. I've curated some Deep Questions to spark truly Deep-Networking. You'll get a different question each time you get matched to a partner. Since time is short, dive straight in so y'all can explore the question.
  2. Bring Your Whole Self. Trade armor in for authenticity. Practice vulnerability. Answer truthfully.
  3. Be Human. No polish needed. And for goodness' sake, no pitches, please.
  4. Ask. Let your curiosity drive the conversation.

You have a story worth telling. A life worth sharing. Just bring yourself.

See you in the Deep End ??,

Diana

PS. Thanks for signing up for my newsletter, I'm really honored you've chosen to join me on this journey ??. Wondering what future newsletters from me will be like? I'll be writing straight from my mind & soul, unfiltered, about:

  1. How to have conversations with yourself that deepen self trust, love, and awareness
  2. How to have conversations with your loved ones that heal wounds, build bridges, and and deepen love
  3. How to have conversations with colleagues in the workplace that spark trust & growth
  4. How to have conversations with humanity writ large that create a better, kinder future for all of us

I'll curate many deep questions for you to go forth and practice these conversations with yourself, others, and the world.

Diana Rau, really enjoyed the 1st ever deep networking virtual experiment. I met some really cool people and we talked about listening and things we wanted to do in 30 days, etc. I really enjoyed myself and am looking forward to the next one. Great concept.

Best of luck with your new deep dive Diana Rau - hope to share #MetaLoop with you guys once the new Energy & Transport team is in place in DC. Now that really would be deeply useful - for us all, because what would really MAGA, is an economy-galvanising #GreenNewDeal - and we, with @AdrianBejan have a crucial, key biomimetic app for that. ????
