You're an Imposter!

You're an Imposter!

One of the biggest hurdles to getting to the "next level" is feeling like a fake, an imposter, a fraud.

But Imposter Syndrome is actually born out of wanting to be of more value to to your clients and customers...which is a sign that you really care about them...which is the exact opposite of what a phony would do!

So let's look at how Imposter Syndrome plays out in your head.

First, you find someone who has something (a lifestyle, a physique, a business, a net worth, a level of fame, etc) that you wish you had...you envy it.

Then you compare your circumstance (your lifestyle, physique, business, etc) to theirs.

BUT you have already set yourself up to lose this game!

You are measuring an area of your life you have decided is below your desired standard against the model you see as the highest standard.

Imagine, if you opened a jigsaw puzzle and gave up instantly biggest it was in pieces, and not whole and perfect like the picture on the box?

The joy of a jigsaw puzzle is assembling the pieces so they eventually become the picture on the box...but now they have become that way because of your effort...your skill...your focus.

The joy of the puzzle is the journey of it's assembly.

The joy of your improved (lifestyle, physique, business, etc) is the the journey to realizing it.

So when you feel Imposter Syndrome kicking in, embrace it and feel happy! Because you are committing to reaching a higher ideal of yourself so you can be of more value to your clients.

Knowing you want to be "more" for your clients means you are truly "of service" and far more "real" than any of the slick, money-focused, "I'm better than you are" posers you think of as your competition.

In truth, feeling like an Imposter proves you aren't one!
