The Fargo Police Department has established "The Leadership Care Fund" to support Officer Jake Wallin's family and the other officers impacted by the critical incident earlier this month.
We also want to express our sincere gratitude to all the men and women who serve as law enforcement officers and first responders, working tirelessly to keep our community safe. Their unwavering commitment and selfless acts deserve our utmost appreciation.
As a community, let us unite to honor Officer Jake Wallin's memory and support his friends, family and family in blue.

Adam isn’t your typical entrepreneur and often had the odds stacked against him. After receiving five felonies, he thought there must be more to life. Often described as ambitious, Adam always had a desire to serve those who often get overlooked.?He decided to become a resource for individuals coming out of jail by providing personalized support to individuals to deter repeat offenses.
Behavioral health and incarceration challenges affect individuals of all ages and walks of life throughout our community.?These challenges often lead to other barriers and struggles, such as?employment, housing, relationships, community engagement, etc.
Join us for this crucial?conversation as we unpack?the many facets that affect our community’s ability to successfully?support and rebuild the lives of?individuals in the FMWF area.?

The North Dakota Chapters of SCORE are hosting a FREE workshop,?Building Stronger Nonprofits:?North Dakota SCORE's Workshop on Organizational Management,?on September 12th?from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Topics will range from social entrepreneurship to strategic planning, grant writing, volunteer recruitment and MORE!

The workshop will be in person in Fargo, Grand Forks, Bismarck and Minot, North Dakota, andoffered via Zoom in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. Seating will be limited at each of these locations,and there will only be 2 people per organization allowed to attend in person. It will also be available via ZOOM for those who cannot attend at one of the onsite locations.
