“If you’re doing something for someone else, it’s far greater than doing something for yourself”

I finished reading the Kevin Sinfield book over a month ago and I still think about it most days. It’s incredibly powerful, the quote in the title is one of many that struck a chord.

·?????? In facing in to difficulty / adversity, the message is “You go in, and it’s never as bad as you’ve told yourself it’s going to be”

·?????? From a parenting perspective he talks about “It’s our job as parents to make better versions of ourselves, I want them to pursue their dreams and do what makes them happy. My message to both is identical. Just do your best”

·?????? In relation to friends and former teammates, the respect and love that he has for them is clear, Rob Burrow, Jamie Jones-Buchanan and many others.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association

Every day in the UK six people are diagnosed with MND. That's why I have signed up to be part of the 75 mile dog walk in October that is organised by MNDA to support people affected by motor neurone disease.?

After completing the 60 mile run in August and reflecting on the Kevin Sinfield book, I wanted to continue supporting through October. The MDNA staff have been very helpful and encouraging and their brilliant work goes a long way. Its means that...

·?????? £10 provides an information pack for a newly diagnosed person with MND, so they know what to expect and how to access support.

·?????? £28 funds an MND Connect helpline advisor for an hour, allowing them to provide information and support for anyone affected by MND.

·?????? £75 funds an MND expert researcher for half a day, helping us better understand the disease.

As I don’t have a dog, I am seeing it as a great opportunity to help friends and family or meet up with work colleagues and their canine friends. I am looking forward to it, I have scheduled 25 walks, made arrangements with 10 different dogs and plan to walk for about 20 hours. If you are able to donate please use this link between now and the end of October.

ALS is a cruel disease. My mother who had been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease for 3 years at the age of 82 had all her symptoms reversed with Ayurveda medicine from natural herbs centre after undergoing their ALS/MND Ayurvedic protocol, she’s now able to comprehend what is seen and she no longer needs the feeding tube to feed,. God Bless all ALS disease Caregivers. Stay Strong, take small moments throughout the day to thank yourself, to love your self, and pray to whatever faith, star, spiritual force you believe in and ask for strength, their website is naturalherbscentre. com She’s getting active again since starting this treatment program...
